2019 Burgundy En Primeur
Important Updates as of January 12th:
To limit the spread of COVID-19, the HK authority has imposed dining restrictions, and these restrictions extended until January 20, 2021. Limited gatherings to no more than two people, and limited dine-in service past 6pm.
Due to the world pandemic, PoB has to present the magnificent 2019 Burgundy vintage wines for tasting in accordance to the prevailing guidance of the Hong Kong authorities at the time of the event, taking primary care of the safety of our guests, all staffs and servers.
This year the wines will be served to our guests while seated in small parties (as of Jan 2021, government allows only 2 people at a table and the venue’s capacity maximum of 20 people). Unlike previous years, Walk-around-tasting is prohibited.
Unfortunately, the growers won’t be able to join us this year, but their wines will be there speaking for them. Wines from over 30 of Burgundy‘s top domaines will be airlifted directly from the domaines to Hong Kong days before the event.

Please respect that it is very difficult for us to pull an event together during pandemic for our valuable clients, with a lot of restrictions and the costly logistic and venue.
Guests are not allow to mingle at the venue and the hallway in any case. The temperature of all guests will be taken before entering our venue.
Once guests are seated, the hotel staffs will serve the wines accordingly. A range of canapes will be served to each guest individually to accompany the wines.
At the end of the tasting session, the hotel staffs will need 1 hour to sanitize the venue and prepare for the next tasting session. Guests must leave after 2 hours tasting.
