Domaine Eric Boigelot

Burgundy
Côte de Beaune
Domaine Eric Boigelot is one of the most exciting emerging estates in Burgundy today. Based in Meursault, the family domaine dates back to 1918 and is now led by Charles Boigelot, the fourth generation of the family. The estate owns vineyards across Meursault, Monthélie, Volnay, and Pommard, and has quickly gained attention among Burgundy collectors and professionals for the quality and precision of its wines.

Much of the recent excitement surrounding the domaine comes from Charles Boigelot’s experience before taking over winemaking in 2022. He trained at several of Burgundy’s most respected estates, including Domaine Coche Dury, Domaine Paul Pillot, and Vincent Girardin.

His wines are already being praised for their purity, mineral character, freshness, and balance, combining the richness associated with Meursault with impressive energy and precision.

The whites, particularly Meursault Les Clous, Les Pelles, and Les Petits Charrons, have attracted especially strong attention, while the reds from Monthélie are noted for their elegance and finesse.

The domaine farms sustainably and follows a careful, low intervention approach in both the vineyards and cellar, including hand harvesting and natural fermentations. Although still relatively under the radar compared with the great established names of Meursault, many Burgundy insiders consider Domaine Eric Boigelot to be a rising star with enormous potential. As demand for top Burgundy continues to grow, the domaine is increasingly viewed as one of the region’s most promising young producers.
